Eclipse does not switch from the Welcome screen to the ezclipse view after a fresh install

To repro:

1. Nuke eclipse
2. Reinstall eclipse and launch eclipse
3. Without closing the welcome screen, install ezclipse and vim
4. Restart eclipse as prompted
5. You still see the welcome screen instead of the ezclipse Java view

As a note, the Java view is off to the left, but clicking it makes this happen (which is sort of weird):

This is easily fixable by just closing the window screen (then ezclipe's Java view re-opens), but it's poor user experience and it wasn't immediately obvious to me that this was the right thing to do. Either ezclipse should automatically close the welcome screen, or the setup instructions should be amended to cover this case.
